Nolan & Associates is looking to hire someone that has a unique combination of skills including creative design and/or copywriting capabilities; a level of discipline necessary to effectively manage projects; visionary capabilities to assist the development of our marketing strategy; and a toolbox full of ideas and tactics that will help lead us to the strongest connections possible with our target audience. DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
Purpose of the Role:
1) To create the strategy, produce the supporting content and deploy campaigns to effectively communicate Nolan's differentiators and value proposition to the firm's target market of business owners, private equity groups, financial advisors and networking partners.
Responsibilities of the Role:
1) Campaign Production and Execution - Handle all aspects of existing and new marketing campaigns from content creation, database management and outreach. Utilize most efficient combination of internal resources and third party agencies/freelancers to execute on campaigns.
2) Campaign Management - Develop annual calendar detailing timing and deadlines for campaign creation and outreach based on volume necessary to reach goals. Establish metric based reporting for each campaign including activity volume and conversion.
3) Provide vision and strategy for marketing incorporating current concepts, tools, trends that will provide Nolan an advantage in communicating with key stakeholders.
4) Manage periodic special events and sponsorship opportunities.
5) Maintain website content and establish social media presence.
Expectations of the Role:
1) Timely execution of campaigns per the annual plan.
2) Active weekly management of the database to optimize quality of contacts, organization and reporting functions utilizing our internship program to support this function.
3) Monthly reporting package outlining prior month activities/conversion metrics vs. plan and following month marketing activity.
4) Working in concert with our team and handling communications with co-workers, clients and vendors with the utmost respect and integrity.
Qualifications
Requirements for the Role:
1) Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
2) 3+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in an agency setting with project management responsibilities
3) B2B marketing experience connecting with an audience of business owners and/or professional service providers
4) Exceptional design and/or copywriting skills
5) Internally driven and detail oriented
