Job description

Overview

At PGA TOUR Superstore, we're always looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible individuals who will share a passion for helping transform our business. As one of the fastest growing specialty retailers, we're dedicated to hiring selfless team players from different backgrounds to influence the growth of our organization. Part of the Arthur M. Blank Family of Businesses, PGA TOUR Superstore continuously strives to create a family culture for our Associates - driven by our vision to inspire people through golf and tennis.

Position Summary

We're looking for a talented Copywriter who lives and breathes great writing - and genuinely loves the game of golf. This is a rare opportunity to combine creative craft with passion for one of the world's most exciting retail sectors. As part of our growing marketing team, you'll be the voice behind our brand: crafting compelling copy that converts browsers into buyers and builds genuine connection with our community of golfers.

If you're someone who gets a kick out of nailing the perfect headline as much as you enjoy discussing the finer points of club fitting, we want to hear from you. The marketing team is collaborative and passionate that cares about doing great work. This is a role that allows you to shape the voice of a brand golfers actually love.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write engaging long and short-form copy across all marketing channels - from campaign headlines, website copy, to email campaigns and in-store materials.

  • Bring our brand voice to life consistently across every customer touchpoint.

  • Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team to develop and execute integrated strategies and campaigns.

  • Apply solid SEO fundamentals to web copy, helping us rank and reach the right golfers at the right time.

  • Stay genuinely curious about our products, our customers, and the golf industry - diving into the details that make our business tick.

  • Produce copy at pace without compromising on quality, juggling multiple briefs across different formats.

  • Contribute fresh ideas and creative concepts in brainstorms and campaign planning sessions.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Proven experience writing marketing copy in a professional setting - a portfolio that showcases range and quality.

  • Confident across both long-form content (features, blog posts, landing pages) and short-form copy (ads, social, CTAs, subject lines).

  • A working knowledge of basic SEO principles and how they apply to web copy.

  • A genuine passion for golf - you don't need to be on tour, but you should know your drivers from your wedges and care about the details of the game.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to self-edit to a high standard.

  • A collaborative mindset - you thrive in a team environment and enjoy working across functions.

  • The curiosity and initiative to get under the skin of our products, customers, and business.

  • Experience writing for a retail or e-commerce brand (preferred).

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic on-page SEO tools (preferred).

  • An understanding of golf equipment, apparel, or the wider golf retail landscape (preferred).

  • Experience working within a broader marketing team or agency environment (preferred).

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

  • Monday - Friday onsite, based out of our Roswell, GA Store Support Center. Flexibility to work extended and varied hours as needed.

  • Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time as the job is completed primarily at a desk each day. Variable desk heights are offered so alternatively sitting and/or standing at the desk is optional.

Other Duties:

Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.
