Job description

The Social Media Strategist develops and executes social media strategies that strengthen brand awareness, increase audience engagement, and support organizational goals. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across social media platforms while ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging. The Social Media Strategist monitors trends, analyzes performance metrics, and leverages insights to optimize campaigns and maximize reach and engagement. This role is a hybrid position with the expectation of being onsite in NE Indiana multiple times a week.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Below are the primary duties and essential functions of an employee in this position. While not all tasks may be performed by every employee in this role, all employees are expected to perform related tasks as needed. These essential functions must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Develop and execute campaigns across multiple platforms. (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X).
  • Collaborate with various Bowen Health departments to produce social media content.
  • Translate complex healthcare topics into clear, engaging, and audience-friendly content that educates while driving engagement
  • Manage content calendars and ensure timely publication of content.
  • Ensure all social media content complies with HIPAA, privacy regulations, organizational policies, and healthcare marketing guidelines.
  • Provides support for Bowen Health events.
  • Create content in the form of copy, graphics, short form video and reels/stories.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occupational Exposure Risk Classification: The normal work routine involves minimal exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues.
  • The normal work routine has a minimal ergonomic risk for repetitive motion impairment.
  • The position may require a minimal amount of physical exertion (bending, lifting, twisting) in the work area.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or closely related field. Bachelor’s preferred.
  • Experience: Prefer two (2) years of professional social media experience.
  • Certificate or Professional License: No Certificate or Professional License required.
  • Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance coverage.
  • Travel: Up to 15% in NE Indiana Region
  • Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record background checks
