Marketing Manager - Astronics AES At Astronics AES, we live to help our customers transform flight - and we're looking for a Marketing Manager to help tell that story to the world. The Marketing Manager serves as a key AES marketing point of contact, spanning product marketing and marketing communications across the business. This role develops product positioning and go-to-market plans for the Astronics AES portfolio, using market research, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to create marketing campaigns, messaging, content, and sales tools that drive adoption and growth.

As a market leader in aerospace power, Astronics AES delivers critical power systems trusted by the world's leading commercial airlines, business aviation manufacturers, defense platforms, and emerging eVTOL innovators - from wide-body commercial aircraft to rotorcraft, tactical defense systems, and the next generation of electric flight. The Marketing Manager works closely with Engineering, Product Management, Business Development, Corporate Marketing, and AES leadership to support new products, existing product lines, and long-term business growth. Key Responsibilities Develops and executes short- and long-term product marketing plans and programs across the Astronics AES product portfolio, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and Astronics brand strategies.

Collaborates with Astronics Corporate Marketing and peer business unit marketers to align AES activities with shared Astronics standards, tools, templates, and guidelines while contributing content, input, and participation in corporate marketing programs and cross-business-unit initiatives. Supports revenue growth by developing and executing campaigns that generate awareness, engagement, leads, and customer opportunities; monitors and reports on campaign performance metrics to improve effectiveness. Works with Product Management and Business Development to identify and lead AES product marketing opportunities at trade shows, customer meetings, trade associations, seminars, and other industry events, including product focus, demo/display planning, messaging, positioning, and supporting materials.

Manages AES social media and digital marketing activities, including content planning, campaign execution, advertising, scheduling, publishing coordination, and performance tracking in alignment with Astronics Corporate Marketing and brand standards. Identifies customer buying motivations, value drivers, market trends, and competitive dynamics through market research, customer insight, and competitive analysis. Collaborates with cross-functional teams across Astronics AES business lines to produce and maintain product data sheets, sales tools, brochures, presentations, website content, and other marketing collateral.

Develops and maintains sales enablement tools and materials - including presentations, competitive battle cards, product positioning guides, and customer-facing messaging - to equip the AES sales and business development teams for customer engagements. Leads website content strategy and implementation for Astronics AES product lines, including product solutions, branding, support, and customer-facing content. Develops and executes strategies to ensure Astronics AES products and solutions are accurately and prominently represented across AI-powered search and discovery platforms, including managing the underlying content, data, and digital presence that feed these tools.

Manages AES media and public relations activities, including press releases, media engagement, editorial opportunities, and paid placements, in alignment with Astronics Corporate Marketing Press Release Process. Owns and maintains the AES content library to ensure collateral, imagery, video, presentations, sales tools, and other marketing assets are current, organized, and accessible. Supports development and management of the AES product marketing budget, as applicable, in coordination with AES leadership and Astronics Corporate Marketing.

Ensures brand consistency across all Astronics AES platforms, materials, campaigns, events, and customer touchpoints. Contracts with and directs outside resources for marketing, creative, media, digital, event, and related services as needed. Qualifications / Skills Direct experience in marketing, product marketing, product launch, or product promotion within an aerospace, defense, technical, industrial, or similarly complex B2B environment.

Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across product lines, departments, and stakeholders. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data, market insight, and campaign performance metrics to drive decision-making and optimize marketing effectiveness. Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical products and systems into clear, compelling customer-facing messaging and content.

Strong creative judgment and visual communication skills, with the ability to guide the development of compelling, on-brand campaigns, messaging, presentations, imagery, and marketing materials. Ability to aggregate and convert product, customer, competitor, and market knowledge into successful marketing deliverables, including product literature, press releases, website content, advertising campaigns, sales tools, presentations, and social media content. Proficiency with social media platforms and advertising tools relevant to B2B marketing, such as LinkedIn Ads and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

Familiarity with AI-assisted marketing tools for content generation, campaign optimization, audience targeting, and search/discovery visibility. Experience working with presentation and content creation tools such as PowerPoint, Canva, or similar platforms. Self-motivated yet customer-focused; collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a cross-functional environment.

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrates proficiency - typically 4-6 years of direct experience in the key responsibilities of the position. Proven experience in product marketing and/or marketing communications, preferably within the commercial aerospace, business aviation, defense, advanced air mobility, technical, or industrial B2B markets.

Demonstrated experience managing social media campaigns, search visibility strategies including SEO and AI-driven discovery platforms, and broader digital marketing programs. Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools such as HubSpot, Sprout Social, Semrush, or similar platforms. Experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, or email marketing platforms is preferred.

Compensation Base salary range: $102,687 - $154,031 per year ( Mid-point: $128,359 ). Factors such as education, experience, skills and market conditions influence the actual salary. It is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the range.
