A leading digital streaming network seeks a Podcast Programming Associate to support the distribution and growth of its podcast portfolio by managing publishing workflows, creating and editing digital content, coordinating with cross-functional teams, tracking performance metrics, and ensuring high-quality content delivery.
Podcast Programming Associate Responsibilities:
  • Upload and publish full podcast episodes, VOD content, vertical videos, and short-form podcast clips across streaming and digital platforms while managing metadata, backend publishing, content management systems, and YouTube publishing workflows.
  • Create and edit digital assets, including thumbnails, graphics, and basic video content using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Premiere), while organizing and managing production files.
  • Partner with producers, programming, product, marketing, editorial, sales, and other stakeholders to support podcast distribution, promotional opportunities, publishing operations, and launch of podcast show pages and playlists.
  • Track content performance, compile and communicate analytics, participate in meetings with key stakeholders, troubleshoot publishing issues, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve engagement.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail while supporting multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, adapting to evolving processes, incorporating feedback, and providing occasional evening, weekend, or holiday support as needed.

Podcast Programming Associate Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of digital media experience.
  • Experience as a Production Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the podcast industry.
  • Strong editorial judgment with the ability to identify and create engaging short-form clips from long-form podcast content.
  • Experience with web publishing, content management systems, digital asset management, metadata entry, and video publishing platforms such as YouTube.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Strong communication, organizational, troubleshooting, and project coordination skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
  • Experience in the entertainment, news, or digital media industry is preferred.

Shift:
  • 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
  • Flexible schedule may be needed. There may be some later night schedules depending on the time of year. May be requested to work weekend/holiday as needed.
