This is a Great Senior Superintendent opportunity with a 50-year-old reputable General Contractor in Memphis.

They are looking for someone experienced with commercial (K-12 / University School) projects and who is for their local/regional projects. All of their work is in the Memphis / Jackson area.

They have a solid pipeline/backlog of work in Memphis they are one of the most highly revered companies in the area with a reputation and company culture to match!

Client Details & Company Culture          This General Contractor was started over 50 years ago and operates across a multitude of disciplines including: Hospitality-Multifamily, Healthcare, Religious and Education project types.

The Superintendent will manage daily operations onsite including the project staff and subcontractors. Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors    

 

Requirements for the Position

  • Must have 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent on Commercial ($10-30M+) projects from start up through completion.
  • Preferred experience also with School (K-12, University) construction projects 
  • Prefer local Memphis candidates who are familiar with the codes and have a good relationship with many of the local subcontractors.


Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's/Associates degree in Construction/Business Management preferred (but not required).
  • 3+ years of Educational/School project experience (K-12  / Higher-Education)
  • 10+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience in the ground-up / new-construction industry.
