Job Description

Position: Associate Engineer-RF

Location: Portland, OR

Duration: 12 Months



Job Description:

Scope of the role consists of working on and supporting the local RF design team. 

This position will confirm the intended design with the local market RF engineer and transition it into action. 

Responsibilities will range among the following: translating RF designs into interconnect diagrams/digital unit diagrams, filing regulatory, issuing operational work orders, updating databases, creating reports, and completing tasks in project tools. 

BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required 2+ years of experience in the cellular or telecommunications' industry. 

Familiarity in cell site design and terminology is required. 

Should have a good understanding of engineering concepts, and must show aptitude and desire to learn and advance in a technical field. 

Prior experience with Excel, Adobe, and Visio are required. Prior experience with Siterra, Atoll, and/or any VZW proprietary tools are a plus. 

Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.

Will need to excel working in a team and working on a large number of projects. 

Candidate will need strong time management skills.


Qualifications

BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required 2+ years of experience in the cellular or telecommunications' industry.
