Job description

About the Opportunity
Conduct research on machine learning, control theory, and synthetic biology. The work will combine tools from dynamical systems, control theory, and the theory of algorithms and computation, involving the analysis of feedback controllers in systems and synthetic biology, the analysis of algorithms, and merging of ML and mechanistic approaches to deal with context effects. The Postdoctoral Associate will give presentations of their work, will help write papers reporting on research results, will help supervise graduate students, and will closely interact with the PI and colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in dynamical systems, control theory, systems biology, and the theory of algorithms and computation. The candidate should possess a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
