As the market share leader in exterior automotive lighting, NAL provides advanced lighting technology, engineering design expertise, and state-of-the-art production capabilities to auto makers based in North America and around the world.  

Our Opportunity 

North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Systems Engineer - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, plan, maintain, and support corporate server infrastructure. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Your Priorities 

  • Administers and supports various server operating systems including Linux, Windows and VMWare. 
  • Installs, configures, and troubleshoots physical and virtual servers. 
  • Develops specifications for new server hardware and infrastructure designs. 
  • Makes decisions/recommendations and provides input on server equipment purchases and usage. 
  • Designs, documents, analyzes, and configures physical and virtual production server environment. 
  • Monitors server environment and plans for expansion, consolidation, and redesign. 


The salary range for this position is $60,300 - $90,500 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of related work experience OR
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, plus 4 to 6 years of related work experience.
