Data Science Solutions Lead

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 740 W Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308.

This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Data Science Solutions Lead is responsible for programming processes for data setup and enabling advanced analytic capabilities.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop solutions and enable capabilities
• Perform code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards
• Maintain technical development environments and implementation plans
• Assist in developing training documentation and advise on best coding practices
• Develop and perform unit testing
• Fix defects and re-execute tests to validate results
• Gather requirements to guide solution approach
• Provide status updates and communicate risks to management

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Five (5) years of experience in a related occupation

Experience Requirements:

• Five (5) years of experience in:
  • Object-oriented programming using Java or Python
  • Big data and Hadoop technologies
  • SQL with traditional data warehouse technologies
  • Relational databases
  • Working with at least one job scheduler (e.g., Oozie or Airflow)
  • Developing microservices-based APIs using Kubernetes or Docker
  • Working with real-time architecture solutions using Kafka
