Job description

Description:
  • Prepare detailed drawings and models for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, fire alarm, and electrical systems based on redline markups.
  • Apply and maintain Thorson Baker & Associates, Inc. AutoCAD and Revit standards throughout all drafting and modeling work.
  • Review and back-check completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate directly with engineers to develop, coordinate, and revise project drawings and models.
  • Provide general project support, including copying, scanning, filing, printing, emailing, and organizing project plans and documents for shipment.
Requirements:


  • Education/Experience: Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Drafting and Design, or a minimum of three years of professional experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Drafting & Modeling: Familiarity with drafting and modeling practices, including the ability to interpret and incorporate markups and convert redline drawings into finalized documents.
  • Work Ethic: Demonstrates a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to complete assigned responsibilities efficiently and accurately.
  • Multitasking: Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Work Schedule: Willingness to work additional hours beyond 40 hours per week, when necessary, to meet project deadlines and client requirements.
