Job description

About AZX
Our mission is to accelerate positive impact in critical industries through AI transformation.
We're growing quickly and already work with category-leaders in real estate (CBRE), energy (LevelTen Energy), logistics (Flexe), and utilities (Puget Sound Energy).
AZX is a public benefit corporation founded in 2024. We were profitable through bootstrapped consulting for the first year. In early 2026, we raised $6M to scale our operations and technology.
We work on challenges in clean energy, decarbonization, climate risk, energy systems, and global economics. We're building our company for long-term success and aim to create the ultimate place to work for those passionate about AI and making a positive impact.
About the Role
You'll be AZX's front line to the market-the person who makes sure we show up where it matters, build genuine relationships, and keep the conversations flowing. This role blends community building, content creation, outreach execution, and event coordination into one high-energy position.
You'll work directly with AZX leadership and strategists to get the right people into the right conversations. You'll send outreach on behalf of senior team members, coordinate our presence at industry events, support content and thought leadership efforts, and help ensure every touchpoint with the market reflects AZX's brand and mission.
This role is for someone who gets energy from people, thrives in fast-paced environments, and wants to help build a category-defining company from the ground up.
What You Will Do
  • Execute outreach campaigns on behalf of AZX strategists and leadership-sending personalized messages, booking meetings, and qualifying early contacts
  • Coordinate AZX's event presence: manage the annual event calendar, submit speaker applications, coordinate booths and logistics, and represent AZX on the ground
  • Support content creation and thought leadership-writing support for blog posts, case studies, webinars, community engagement, and social media
  • Provide fast-turnaround support on client-facing materials: proposals, one-pagers, decks, and collateral for strategists and leadership
  • Support partnership logistics with tech partners (NVIDIA, Google, Anthropic, etc.) and channel partners
  • Manage vendor risk qualification portals and administrative workflows
  • Work with design on press kit and brand materials
  • Support recruiting efforts and commercial GTM as needed
  • Help build and nurture AZX's community at the intersection of climate and AI

Core Qualifications
  • Gets intense energy from networking, events, and being around people. You're the person who leaves a conference with 50 new contacts and follows up with all of them.
  • Strong communicator with editorial judgment-you can write a compelling email, spot a weak headline, and know what resonates with a senior audience.
  • Tireless work ethic. Events are a grind and outreach is a volume game-you embrace both.
  • Organized and reliable. You juggle multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders without dropping balls.
  • Bias to community over content-you'd rather build a relationship than publish a blog post, but you can do both.
  • Comfortable with AI tools and eager to use them to move faster. You don't need to code, but you should be a power user of modern tools.

Values and Culture Qualifications
  • Mission aligned-you care about climate, energy, and using technology to solve hard problems. This isn't just a job.
  • Action in ambiguity-you figure out what to do when nobody tells you, and you take ownership of the outcome.
  • Intellectual humility-you'd rather find the right answer than be right.
  • Kind candor-you care about your teammates and speak honestly, without creating unnecessary conflict.
  • Highly productive-you have a track record of getting a lot done.

Other Qualifications (Not required, but a huge plus)
  • Experience in B2B marketing, community management, or event coordination
  • Familiarity with the energy, utilities, climate, or cleantech space
  • Experience at an early-stage startup or building something from scratch
  • Existing network in energy, climate, or AI communities
  • Experience with marketing tools (HubSpot, Mailchimp, social scheduling platforms, etc.)

Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range: $70,000-$95,000 (based on capabilities, experience, and location)
  • Bonus eligibility
  • Equity
  • Health insurance with meaningful coverage for dependents
  • Flexible paid time off
  • Training and learning opportunities
  • Fully remote team
  • Be part of a fast-growing, mission-driven company with industry-leading clients tackling the massive opportunity of AI transformation in critical industries

Logistics
  • Remote, U.S.-based. Seattle, San Francisco, New York, and Boston preferred given event and travel requirements.
  • We are currently unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas.
  • Heavy travel required for client meetings, AZX company events, and industry conferences. This role is on the ground at events regularly.

Next Steps - we want to hear from you!
If this job sounds like a fit, we'd love to hear from you. If you feel aligned to the company but don't check every box, please apply anyway-we'd still love to meet you.
