Job Description

Job title: Clinical Data Coordinator

Location:Cleveland,OH Duration: 3+ months (possibility of extension) Candidate must be local to Cleveland, OH area.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILTIES: Candidate will perform two primary functions:

1. Collect, input, and format requested data from each of customer's 16-18 hospitals into a single data base; scope includes data management and validation responsibilities.

2. support the planning, organizing, and coordination of visits from the Healthcare team to customer facilities, key stakeholder meetings, and other tasks required to advance project deliverables as assigned during the course of the project

Candidate will be given access to a large quantity of sensitive information, participate in key strategic discussions with hospital administrators, and will be required to work at a hospital location in Cleveland, Ohio using a Healthcare computer.

Candidate may be expected to undergo training on customer's systems, processes, information policies, and orgizational structure.

Candidate will average ~30 hours per week; work hours might be low initially during the data collection phase (i.e., waiting on receipt of requested information) but are expected to increase as the project progresses; hours will vary per week.

Candidate will be hired by and under the direction of Healthcare for approximately a four month period with the potential for an expanded duration as the project moves into a proposal development phase.

Customer has approximately 90% of the requested data, but the data is not centrally located, is in different formats, and is not organized in the manner in which Healthcare is planning on leveraging the data.

Customer will provide the candidate with full access to data and key stakeholders for purposes of completing this project.

Due to the quantity and sensitivity of the data to be collected and formatted by the candidate, customer has the right to eliminate potential candidates from consideration. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in business or related field required; master's degree a plus Located in Cleveland, OH Must have working knowledge of hospitals systems Should not be entry level, but managerial skill set not required Above average working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and tab delimited text files 3-5 years of experience in a management support role Strong understanding of financial and operations systems Experienced with operations, data management, and continuous quality improvement Experience in clinical operations and analysis Able to independently research data/projects Gather data and commit data to narrative or spreadsheet form Able to analyse data as collected in terms of project needs and goals Excellent data entry/computer skills Able to electronically combine information from several sources
