Job description

An SEO Associate will execute the tasks required to optimize and increase client SEO performance, including both website (on-page) and off-page best practices. The SEO Associate will assist in the launch of new client accounts as well as the ongoing SEO work that grows a client's Organic search footprint.
A foundation of SEO knowledge is required, but an ongoing curiosity to stay current with SEO news and trends, and a desire to seek mastery of the SEO field is a must. A portion of the Associate SEO's time may be dedicated to analytics, technical SEO, SEO Content development, or other duties as assigned and as required to best serve the needs of clients.
  • Taking ownership of assigned client tasks, maintaining knowledge of client needs to assist in growing Organic search performance
  • Execution of SEO plans according to HLM and industry best practices, when needed
  • Link building using industry-standard methods
  • Auditing client websites to grow SEO performance
  • Using Analytics to identify trends, areas of opportunity, or issues
  • Providing insights and next steps on Analytics reports as needed
  • Maintaining knowledge of SEO best practices and algorithm changes
  • Create and optimize SEO-friendly page content
  • As needed, assist the blogging team with targets and keyword support

Education and Experience:
  • 1 -2 years of experience in managing SEO campaigns
  • Bachelor's in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • Ongoing renewal of Google Certifications & other industry-related tool certifications

Required Abilities and Skills:
  • Familiarity with HTML elements related to SEO
  • Demonstrable or certified Google Analytics experience
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools like SEMRush, Majestic, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog or others
