The Group: Advyzon Investment Management (AIM) is a Turnkey Asset Management Program (TAMP) that offers investment solutions and operations outsourcing to advisors. AIM was launched in 2022 as a new subsidiary of Advyzon, which was founded in 2012 with the purpose of building intuitive all-in-one technology for advisor firms. AIM provides disciplined investment management solutions built upon an intuitive user experience and personalized relationship based service model. The investment team within AIM is responsible for all aspects of building, managing, investing, and supporting client portfolios.
The Role: AIM is seeking an Associate Client Portfolio Manager to join our Client Portfolio Management team. This person will help advisory firms and financial advisors migrate their current and prospective client accounts on to AIM's TAMP to achieve operational efficiency while sourcing best-in-class investment selection and modeling. The Associate Client Portfolio Manager will be a key liaison for advisors in effectuating a successful transition and on-going investment experience on the platform.
Responsibilities
  • Swiftly gain strong understanding and user proficiency of the Advyzon tools, custodian platforms, and other investment analysis tools
  • Gain extensive knowledge of AIM investment management approach and strategies with strong ability to communicate that knowledge to financial advisors, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Gain strong knowledge of third party strategists and strategies on the Nucleus platform with strong ability to communicate that knowledge to financial advisors, colleagues, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to Client Portfolio Management team knowledge base, especially third party strategists and strategies
  • Develop and enhance knowledge of financial markets, investment products, asset allocation, manager selection, and tax optimization in helping financial advisors transition assets on to AIM TAMP
  • Assist advisor complexes and advisors in book-level mapping of current accounts to desired investment solutions on AIM TAMP
  • Assist advisors in account-level casework to target desired asset allocation target, conduct robust manager selection, and make proposals for current and prospective clients
  • Assist advisors in tax-optimization during account implementation and beyond
  • Communicate effectively with investment team, business development team, operations team, and development team
  • Contribute to the enhancement of AIM technology and AIM communications and marketing and supporting collateral
  • Report to Head of Client Portfolio Management
  • Take additional direction from Senior Client Portfolio Managers

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of investment experience
  • CFA, CFP or progress towards these certifications preferred
  • Prior experience communicating with financial advisors
  • Knowledge of financial markets, asset allocation, manager selection, portfolio construction, and tax-efficient investment considerations
  • Comfort learning and communicating quantitative concepts
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • A focused, dedicated, and entrepreneurial personality
  • Strong analytical and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Robust time management and organization skills
  • Team player approach looking to meet individual goals while also enhancing overall value proposition of the Client Portfolio Management team and AIM
Compensation
$65k, 30% bonus
