As a Private Client Advisor, you will be the main point of contact for a select group of NBHโ€™s affluent clients.You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including; establishing an entrusted banker-client relationship, coordinating assigned client financial needs through proactive and disciplined approach that reaches across multiple lines of business and service/support teams, protect all client and bank information, and following Client Privacy and Information Policy & Procedures for communication with clients, vendors and associates, and study and understand broad local and national economic and business issues that allow fluent advisory discussions with affluent clients to engage and help determine needs.Additionally, Private Client Advisors are expected to achieve specific sales and service goals on a quarterly and annual basis, proudly participate and represent NBH in various community, civic, and professional organizations, and build a great rapport with clients and fellow associates and treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.

All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.

Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
  • Minimum of 5+ yearsโ€™ experience in progressive sales management, extraordinary client service and client/prospect calling experience.
  • Must be/become registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the S.A.F.E. Act.
  • This position requires compliance with all mortgage regulatory requirements and NBH's compliance policies related to these requirements including acceptable background check investigation results. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
  • Must possess a valid driverโ€™s license.
  • Driving may be required with this position. Applicants must have a valid driverโ€™s license (may not be learnerโ€™s, restricted or โ€œto and from workโ€ license) and driving history that meets Bankโ€™s driver standards. This information will be verified in a Motor Vehicle Report.

Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some of the following qualifications:

  • Previous Private Banking experience and exceptional Client Services experience.
  • Previous Investment Management / Estate Planning / Trust Services Experience and financial industry designations.
  • Previous sales experience in the banking and/or financial services industry.
