Job description

Canary Systems is an electronic hardware and software engineering firm specializing in civil engineering related monitoring and instrumentation applications. Projects include monitoring of earth and concrete dams, bridges, tunnels, and buildings. We operate in several markets, including construction, mining, geotechnical, industrial, and public infrastructure.


TheAssembly Technicianwill be responsible for the assembly and testing of our electronic products and providing assistance to all Manufacturing staff. We are looking to immediately fill this full-time position in ourNew London, NHoffice.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Assembly and production of all Canary designed products
    Maintain/Set-Up work area for production of electronic hardware systems.
    Maintain Job assignments and tracking platform
    Diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic hardware issues.
    Maintaining hardware by conducting regular maintenance and updates to workstation.
    Providing technical support to manufacturing team members and resolving technical errors.
    Performing regular tests, upgrades, and backups.
    Preparing technical documents, such as error and maintenance reports.

Assembly Technician Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience as an assembly technician or in a similar role.
    Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
    Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
