Your role will involve a variety of therapeutic interventions and administrative tasks aimed at delivering outstanding care to our patients. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical abilities and needs, including review of medical history and specific assessments.
• Developing and communicating tailored treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families, focusing on mutual goal-setting and informed consent.
• Implementing treatment protocols that respect the evolving healthcare landscape and best practices, demonstrating proficiency across various treatment modalities.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously and timely, including creating baseline assessments, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries that reflect patient outcomes and care transitions.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other healthcare providers as needed and adjusting treatment plans based on patient response and progress.
• Participating in marketing initiatives to help educate the community about services offered, ensuring patients have access to the care they need.
• Engaging in continuous professional development by pursuing ongoing education, attending workshops, and mentoring student interns.

The patients at Lucas Chiropractic Center come from a diverse background, representing a wide range of physical rehabilitation needs. Treatment focuses not only on recovery but also on prevention, health maintenance, and empowering patients to take charge of their wellness journey. You will work with individuals experiencing post-operative recovery, chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and general rehabilitation needs.

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Maryland.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate patients.
• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

While prior experience in a clinical setting is valued, it is not mandatory for this role. We welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and contribute to our patient-centered approach. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines for rehabilitation can be a plus.
