The Senior Associate, Channel Marketing role will support our advisor, institutional, and retirement sales channel Marketing Managers. This role will assist in the implementation of our strategic marketing strategy across Dimensional's Global Client Group (GCG) to ensure marketing campaigns and prospecting activities are deployed in partnership with sales. This role will be responsible for understanding the business objectives of each channel, keeping an open line of feedback from sales, and communicating objectives and needs to sales peers and the larger marketing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in setting the strategy around coordinating with GCG and the broader marketing team to prioritize campaigns and marketing needs for each client audience.
  • Identify key deliverables, draft promotional communications, and develop reporting for channel-specific endeavors.
  • Serve as a dedicated consultant, advocate, and resource for our internal sales contacts, and be a single point of contact for ad-hoc requests arising from sales channels.
  • Stay aware of the firm's strategic initiatives to ensure that channel level marketing efforts are in line with leadership priorities.
  • Partner with multiple marketing entities to effectively execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Stay aware of financial industry developments, opportunities, and challenges to be an impactful marketing partner.
  • Continually seek to enhance the effectiveness of our sales marketing strategy.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of marketing experience in the financial services industry, working in a global business environment.
  • Track record of implementing multichannel marketing strategies through intermediary distribution channels, specifically broker dealer and RIAs.
  • Thorough knowledge of the rules of engagement when coordinating marketing initiatives with wire houses and broker dealers.
  • Experience with an asset management firm, ETF provider, broker dealer, or RIA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build trust and influence, and to collaborate effectively with and across teams to achieve the best results.
  • Adept at juggling numerous projects and managing multiple stakeholders while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze metrics and present information in a meaningful way.
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
