Job description

Position Summary

The Associate Creative Director reports to the Creative Director, Fashion, and leads the creative ideation and execution of seasonal fashion initiatives and campaigns. The role blends leadership with hands‑on creative expertise to deliver modern, compelling, and aspirational fashion campaigns, ensuring consistent graphic design application across all assets, from concept through post‑production.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic ideas that enhance brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty in response to creative briefs.
  • Lead ideation, design, and execution of conversion‑driven seasonal fashion initiatives and campaigns.
  • Manage a team responsible for designing modern, on‑brand visual worlds, writing scripts, and partnering with production to identify collaborators (e.g., casting director, editor).
  • Oversee casting, music, location, shot lists, and other sub‑workstreams, and attend shoots.
  • Manage post‑production, including editing and color grading, ensuring the final delivery of asset suites.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes to inform creative decisions.
  • Maintain brand consistency across various levels of the consumer funnel.
  • Mentor, guide, and grow the creative team to build an award‑winning in‑house agency model.
  • Build relationships with WCS peer teams such as marketing, fashion office, and editorial to sustain and grow business.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Associate Creative Director or similar role in the fashion retail industry.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of 360‑degree creative projects at various market levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of fashion trends and consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in creative software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Figma, Microsoft Office 365, and Slack.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a creative role.
  • A mix of agency and in‑house experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.

Reports to the Director, Creative (Fashion). Manages Senior Art Directors, Art Directors, Senior Designers, and Designers.

Salary

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00–$216,000.00, with additional annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Eligible for stock compensation.
