Job description

We're hiring a CAD Designer for a growing manufacturing company in Tampa. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity for an experienced CAD professional who is currently working in a CAD design role and enjoys creating detailed technical drawings that support manufacturing operations. We're looking for someone with 3–5 years of recent CAD design experience who can make an immediate impact. Compensation is $23.00–$25.00 per hour, with higher pay available for candidates with extensive experience and qualifications.

CAD Designer – 1st Shift
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: $23.00–$25.00 per hour (Higher pay available based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and layouts
• Prepare and revise engineering drawings based on project requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to support manufacturing
• Update and maintain drawing revisions and documentation
• Ensure all drawings meet company and customer specifications
• Assist with design changes and continuous improvement projects
• Support production by providing accurate technical documentation

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of recent CAD design experience required
• Currently working in a CAD Designer or similar design role preferred
• Fusion 360 experience preferred
• Candidates with strong AutoCAD experience and a willingness to learn Fusion 360 are encouraged to apply
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
