The position is for a Business Process Analyst and focuses on reengineering existing solutions into performance-based IT services and repeatable solutions. Our team is looking for experience supporting a cloud-based, large-scale enterprise with multiple applications and integrating new technologies to optimize efficiency and improve performance.**This government position REQUIRES US Citizenship and to be in Ashburn, VA, twice a week**Primary ResponsibilitiesLead the analysis and documentation of complex as-is and to-be functionality across multiple applications and business domainsEnsure a team of 15 meets the documented requirements in implementing a workflow and rules-based solution integrating various components, subsystems, or processes using the Agile MethodologyAnalyze current processes to formulate and develop new and modified software-based to-be solutions and identify gaps and improvement opportunities.Regularly employ ingenuity and creativity to develop new solutions and systems to achieve functional objectivesCommunicate with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members. May communicate with parties external to the organization (e.g., sub-contractors, vendors, etc.). Work to influence project/team leaders regarding solution design, process and/or approachesResearch, evaluate, and stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies including cloud servicesBasic QualificationsExperience with CBP PSPD applications5 years of experience leading Systems Engineering and Business Process Analysis activities10 years of experience in implementing software solutions20 years of experience in the software industryExperience with workflows and rules enginesExperience in Java including extensive knowledge of modern Java architecturesExperience with PostgeSQL and CloudNative technologiesExperience evaluating business needs, requirements to identify appropriate solutions, and ability to resolve complex technical issuesExperience applying a continuous integration/deployment approach to project or program delivery; this includes adapting to changing requirements, fostering collaboration, and rapidly delivering high quality solutions.Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the senior levels of management and the CustomerExperience executing process improvement for large scale programsPreferred QualificationsKnowledge and experience in supporting refactoring of legacy systemsFamiliarity with AI conceptsDHS/CBP Public Trust ClearenceExperience in the following tools and/or technologies:JDK21, gRPC, Agile modern best-practicesWebServices including REST and SOAP interface developmentGitHarnessAWS EKSMessaging solutions for app-DB and app-app interfaces Trillion is an equal opportunity employer.
