Position Description:
Employees in this job function are responsible for enabling intelligent business decisions by designing robust analytics solutions through a blend of business acumen, data and analytics proficiency and technical solution architecture; leveraging knowledge and expertise in multiple tools for data integration, data modeling, data analysis tools, advanced data visualization tools etc.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own assigned backlog items for Power BI dashboard development, analysis, testing, documentation, and release support through sprint delivery.
  • Partner with PC&I Technology, transformation sponsors, PMO leads, Finance/value realization stakeholders, data governance leads, and workstream teams to gather requirements and convert them into Power BI reporting solutions.
  • Design and build persona-based Power BI reports and dashboards covering portfolio health, execution velocity, milestone completion, risks, dependencies, KPI movement, adoption, financial ROI, realized savings, forecast value, and value realization
  • Create and maintain Power BI semantic models, measures, calculations, relationships, filters, drill-through paths, and reusable report patterns that support executive-grade decision making.
  • Develop dashboard UX that uses clear information hierarchy, data storytelling, drill-down navigation, accessibility-aware design, and maintainable layouts for executive and workstream audiences.
  • Support integration and data modeling across Jira, Workboard KPI data, Nicus/finance datasets, PC&I Finance datasets, engineering tools, PLM/ERP systems, and centralized datasets as access becomes available.

  • Analyze change requests and defects, assess impact to existing functionality, create test cases, perform unit testing, support user acceptance testing, and document known limitations.
  • Participate in design reviews, code/report peer reviews, sprint planning, stakeholder demos, deployment activities, handoff, runbook creation, documentation, and knowledge transfer to our teams.
