WHAT YOU'LL DO
Every single day, our Marketing team searches for surprising and refreshing ways to create connections with our customers and consumers.
In this role, you'll participate designing and implementing effective marketing strategies to commercialize innovative, consumer-driven products for Talking Rain and Sparkling Ice. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in executing sales, retailer, and consumer support programs. You will analyze diverse data sets, transforming brand metrics into sales materials, recommending plans for enhanced margins, collaborating with the Insights team, and supporting packaging and product development throughout the entire lifecycle.
Reports to: Sr. Brand Manager
Direct Reports: N/A
Location: Hybrid at our Preston, WA office at least 3 days onsite per week.
*While we strive to offer flexibility, this role also requires it. There may be times when you're expected to come onsite outside your typical in-office days to support special projects, team events, or other business needs.
Annual Bonus Potential: 7% - Eligibility is based on the company hitting annual financial targets.
Base Salary: $75,000 - $103,000 (depending on experience)
Note: New hires typically receive between minimum and midpoint, however, we may go slightly higher based on experience, internal equity and market.
  • Plan and execute sales, retailer and consumer support programs.
  • Analyze, track and summarize key learnings based on syndicated, Point of Sale, quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Translate key brand metrics, analytics, programs and media plans into sales materials that are retailer ready.
  • Recommend and champion brand plans that improve margins and add EBITDA.
  • Collaborate with Insights team to identify product offering gaps and valuable consumers insights to drive portfolio strategy and brand growth.
  • Analyze data, build business cases and make recommendations related to packaging, products, promotions, and other key initiatives that will drive business results and long-term sustainable growth.
  • Support the development of packaging and product development briefs and lead the from innovation through commercialization.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Onsite responsibilities of this position include:
  • Supporting innovation and new product development through tasting sessions, competitive product evaluations, and formula explorations with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborating in a fast-paced environment to capture the essence of our products and drive impactful marketing strategies.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • 2-4 years of experience in brand / marketing / product management, ideally with a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) company.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project and program efforts to completion.
  • Strong analytical/reporting skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience with end-to-end product development and commercialization processes.
  • Experience with Syndicated Data (IRI preferred).
  • Familiarity with traditional trade channels: food, mass, club, and convenience, and E-Commerce.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A willingness to navigate change and ambiguity.
  • A passion for the consumer.
  • A creative mindset, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with using data throughout aspects of the role, turning consumer and social insights into strategic thinking, and building viable financial models.
