Job description

Do you love digging into data, organizing, and problem-solving? We want to hear from you! We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented accountant to help keep our financial information in order and up to date. You’ll be in charge of bookkeeping, producing financial reports, and recording accurate information in QuickBooks. If this sounds like you, we highly encourage you to apply.Compensation:

$75,000 + yearly depending on experience


Responsibilities:
  • Prepare all financial statements and bank reconciliations
  • Verify accuracy within day books and all ledgers
  • Process payroll to provide payment to employees on time
  • Make sure accounts receivable/payable are complete
  • Bookkeeping: Enter data, maintain records and produce financial reports
  • Prepare corporate and partnership business tax returns
  • Prepare business financial statements, including the income statement and balance sheet, using QuickBooks
  • Cashflow and Budget Analysis

Qualifications:
  • Worked previously with basic accounting systems, QuickBooks, and Excel
  • Must be well-versed in general accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Must have 2 or more years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a management accountant, bookkeeper, cost accountant or similar
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Must have 3 or more years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Ability to solve problems using critical thinking skills
  • Understanding of the payroll process and how it works
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Must be located in the United States
