Postdoctoral Associate - Regenerative CAR T Therapy for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

This Postdoctoral Associate will serve on a project focused on developing regenerative CAR T-based therapeutic strategies for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), funded by NIH R21 project (1R21AR087645-01). The project aims to target pathogenic inflammatory and fibrotic stromal cell populations that impair muscle regeneration in DMD.

The Postdoctoral Associate will design and perform experiments to validate therapeutic targets, develop and test CAR T-cell strategies, and evaluate treatment effects in DMD mouse models. Key responsibilities will include flow cytometry, tissue histology, molecular and cellular assays, analysis of muscle degeneration and regeneration, and integration of single-cell/genomic data to define therapeutic mechanisms.

Min Degree Requirements:  The position requires expertise and PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, mouse models, and quantitative data analysis.

Other Credential/Experiential Requirements: Experience in muscle biology, immunology, CAR T-cell engineering, fibrosis, or single-cell genomics is highly desirable
