Availability Requirement: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

As a Rawlings Sales Associate, you will work with a wide range of premium products, including gloves, bats, training equipment, apparel, and accessories. You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting store sales goals and maintaining a welcoming retail environment.

Position Summary

The Sales Associate provides outstanding customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, and sharing product knowledge. This position is responsible for helping drive sales, maintaining store presentation standards, and supporting daily retail operations.

The ideal candidate is energetic, customer-focused, and passionate about sports. They possess strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships with customers while delivering a positive shopping experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with product selection using effective sales and customer service techniques.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Rawlings products, including features, specifications, pricing, styles, colors, and product history.
  • Provide accurate information and recommendations to customers based on their needs.
  • Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals.
  • Maintain merchandise displays and ensure products are properly stocked and organized.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
  • Support inventory management activities as needed.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications, Required Skills, and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) months of experience in retail, sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional, friendly, and outgoing demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Preferred Qualifications
