The Senior Automation Developer is responsible for independently designing, developing, and supporting scalable automation solutions that optimize and streamline enterprise business processes. This role serves as a senior technical contributor within the automation team, leading complex workflow initiatives end-to-end from requirements and design through deployment and operational support.

Core Responsibilities:

ย 

Automation Developmentย 

  • Work with the automation team and key stakeholders to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and design optimal solutions
  • Independently lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex automation solutions with minimal oversight
  • Build and maintain reliable workflows leveraging software including UiPath, Alteryx, Databricks, Snowflake, and related intelligent automation capabilities
  • Support production deployments, monitoring, and root-cause analysis to ensure workflow stability and operational reliability

Maintenance & Support

  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
  • Conduct workflow testing (positive/negative scenarios) and document results
  • Create process documentation, workflow diagrams, and technical specificationsย 
  • Develop enhancement requests for existing automations

Collaborationย 

  • Work collaboratively with business partners to deliver automation solutions in a reasonable timeframe
  • Lead workflow design discussions with business partners
  • Communicate progress and risks clearly to automation team and business partners
  • Support junior developers in their design and development effortsย through technical guidance and reviews of workflows & technical designs

Technical Skillsย 

  • Proficiency in automation tools such as UiPath, Alteryx, or similar tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python preferred
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms and API integrations
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data structures, process design, and scalable data processing concepts

Qualifications & Educationย 

  • 4+ years of automation design, development and implementation experienceย 
  • Effective communication skills (oral and written) and be able to work well with team members, stakeholders, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exhibit dependability, a positive attitude, and attention to detailย 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
