Job description

Audubon is currently seeking an OT Solutions Specialist to join our team. The OT Solutions Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the implementation, monitoring, and security of Operational Technology (OT) systems for industrial facilities. This position requires a hands-on technical expert capable of working across a variety of platforms, including control systems (DCS/PLC), industrial networks, virtualization, cybersecurity tools, and Windows-based infrastructure.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of industrial control system environments (e.g., Emerson, Yokogawa, Honeywell, Rockwell).
  • Maintain and troubleshoot OT networks, including Layer 2/3 switches, firewalls, routers, and VLAN segmentation.
  • Support and maintain virtualized server environments using VMware or Hyper-V platforms.
  • Assist with patch management, backup systems, endpoint protection (AV), and Windows domain services in the OT environment.
  • Execute OT cybersecurity tasks such as system hardening, asset inventory, risk assessments, and compliance with NIST/IEC 62443 frameworks.
  • Participate in FATs, SATs, and system commissioning for new automation systems.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation including network diagrams, configuration records, and SOPs.
  • Coordinate with clients and project teams to support OT-related scopes in engineering and construction projects.
  • Participate in audits, assessments, and customer meetings related to cybersecurity and system performance.
  • Comply with all company and client health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) policies and practices.
  • Support business development efforts through technical input, site walks, and proposal development.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support project execution, including both onshore facilities and offshore platforms.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Engineering Technology, or related technical field required
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial automation, control systems, or IT/OT cybersecurity
  • Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS platforms, preferably from Emerson, Yokogawa, or Rockwell
  • Working knowledge of industrial networking (Cisco, Hirschmann, Moxa), virtualization (VMware ESXi), and Windows Server environments
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and frameworks such as NIST 800-82, IEC 62443, or NERC CIP
  • Understanding of backup and recovery solutions, domain architecture, endpoint protection, and software patching
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel onshore and offshore for system support, commissioning, and maintenance as required
  • GICSP or other cybersecurity certifications preferred (e.g., Security+, CCNA, ISA/IEC 62443)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
