Job description

The Lodge and Club are slope side at Stowe Resort; gorgeous for year-round adventures, escapes, destination weddings, and more. We take pride in our teamwork and high standards. The Night Auditor is to provide friendly, efficient registration and information to all guests, fellow employees, and visitors during the overnight shift.  In addition, provides sincere service through actions that display self-confidence, grace and courtesy to guests and colleagues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

1.       Warmly greets guests.

2.       Checks guest in and out, ensuring proper credit is received, special requests are noted / fulfilled and accurate information is established and proper payment is received.

3.       Thoroughly completes all guest transactions ensuring all bills are up-to-date and balanced.  Performs overnight audit.

4.       Balances lodge accounts, credit card batches and interfaces on a nightly basis.

5.       Maintains an up-to-date working knowledge of all lodge and resort amenities as well as any special events.

6.       Takes guest room reservations when needed and makes restaurant reservations as requested for internal and external guests.

7.       Maintains house bank and handles all checks and cash according to Resort policies and procedures.

8.       Follows set procedures on posting charges, credit cards, cashing checks, safe deposits, and refunds.

9.       Answers the telephone in a professional manner and assists guests with any questions, directions to the property, etc.

10.   Addresses all guest feedback with the utmost confidence, grace and concern for their satisfaction.

11.   Is able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
