Overcast seeds innovation through the design, manufacture, and application of smart ceiling products that integrate mechanical, electrical, fire protection, audio/visual, wireless, and a host of other low voltage building technologies. Cloud integrated ceiling appliances are designed to deliver flexibility and plug & play connectivity to streamline the design, procurement, installation, and service. We work together to generate the greatest opportunities for exceptional design and functionality while minimizing cost and waste.
The Opportunity with Overcast
We are adding a Project Manager to our growing Overcast division in Spokane. This position is responsible for the management of projects, including documentation, procurement, and coordination with clients, subcontractors, vendors and internal parties. Additional responsibilities include:
Project Coordination:
  • Coordinate Request for Proposal (RFP) and assist in procurement processes.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and other resources to answer questions.
  • Coordinates the Overcast scope of work with the project drawings and specifications.
  • Assist in coordination of Overcast engineering and client resources by communicating with Architect, Engineer, and Owners.
  • Track current and future jobs while also projecting future schedule requirements.
  • Coordinate equipment procurement with purchasing department and outside vendors to order and expedite material.
  • Coordinate job set-up, site mobilization, project administration and closeout.
  • Support the scheduling and delivery of completed products.
  • Coordinates the Overcast scope of work with the project drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinate field activities of self-performed and subcontracted work as necessary.
  • Assumes financial responsibility for internal and external projects including accurate, timely and relevant reports to stakeholders.
  • Prepares, delivers and communicates all warranty-related requirements.

Communication:
  • Communicate with Subcontractors, Job Site Superintendents, Architect, Engineer and Owner, to assist the project management team with daily duties.
  • Respond to project related questions, review contracts, drawings, specifications and other resources to answer questions in a timely manner.
  • Consult with leadership if necessary to resolve issues.

Documentation:
  • Create and respond to Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Develop, process and track equipment, material and informational submittals.
  • Create site-specific work plans.
  • Create and publish Operations and Maintenance Manuals for clients.
  • Obtain detailed knowledge of contracts, drawings, and specifications for project(s).
  • Assist in the client and subcontractor change order process.
  • Create billing breakdowns and prepare billing substantiation.
  • Update and manage all project files.
  • Conduct quantity take off and pricing estimates for internal and external uses.

Safety:
  • Uphold and communicate Overcast safety standards.
  • Coordinate with Safety team to create and communicate site safety plans.
  • Ensure safety compliance of subcontractors and all on-site personnel.

What You Need to Succeed at Overcast
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency for all the responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of construction concepts required.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates, and other regularly encountered items required.
  • BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or comparable degree-or equivalent work experience required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project required; working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Customer service and or office administration experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $96,300 - $147,060 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay information is based on market location. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
