Full-time, on-site opportunity in either Fairfax, Virginia or Virginia Beach, Virginia, offering the chance to work closely with an experienced litigation team while serving clients throughout Virginia.

Job Description

  • Represent clients in personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
  • Manage an active caseload involving motor vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability, and other injury claims.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Take and defend depositions and prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
  • Negotiate with insurance companies to obtain favorable settlements.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and provide trusted legal guidance throughout the case.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve the best possible outcomes.
  • Appear in Virginia courts as needed and advocate effectively on behalf of clients.

Qualifications

  • Active Virginia Bar license required.
  • 1+ year of personal injury attorney experience required.
  • Ideal experience level is 1 to 6 years as an associate attorney.
  • Strong legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
