What You’ll Do:
  • Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters from initial intake through final resolution, ensuring deadlines, filings, and case objectives are effectively maintained
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation-related materials
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, conferences, and other appearances as needed
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare well-organized memoranda, case evaluations, and strategic recommendations
  • Communicate regularly and professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
  • Collaborate with partners and fellow attorneys to develop case strategy, assess risks, and determine effective legal approaches
  • Manage case files, track litigation milestones, and ensure compliance with court requirements and procedural deadlines
  • Meet established performance expectations, including a minimum annual billing requirement of 1,800 hours while maintaining high-quality legal work and client service standards
What We’re Looking For:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license and good standing to practice law in the State of Ohio
  • 4+ years of legal experience, with a strong background in civil litigation
  • Proven litigation experience, including managing cases, preparing legal documents, and appearing in court proceedings
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, attorneys, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal work
