Associate Attorney (Personal Injury) - New York, NY - HYBRID


A growing New York City litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful courtroom exposure, hands-on litigation experience, and the ability to take ownership of cases early in their career. The firm offers a highly entrepreneurial environment where associates work closely with experienced trial attorneys and play an active role in all phases of litigation.


Responsibilities:

  • Appear in court on a regular basis
  • Conduct and defend depositions
  • Attend hearings, conferences, and other litigation proceedings
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery-related documents
  • Assist with trial preparation and case strategy
  • Manage active litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and medical providers
  • Support settlement negotiations and case development efforts


Qualifications:

  • Active New York Bar admission required
  • 1-3 years of litigation experience preferred
  • Prior personal injury litigation experience is a plus
  • Experience with court appearances, depositions, hearings, or motion practice preferred
  • Strong written, verbal, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
