Location: Reno, NV (in person, 300 N. Virginia Street)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000 ~ $150,000 per year

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced, senior-level jewelry sales professional who has genuinely worked with high-end pieces and high-end clientele, not just general retail jewelry. If you know your way around fine diamonds, precious metals, and luxury watch brands, and you know how to build trust with a client making a significant purchase, we want to talk with you.

This is not an entry-level position. We are specifically looking for someone with a minimum of two years of experience in high-end or luxury jewelry sales who can bring the same level of expertise and client care that our top performers already deliver every day.

What we offer:

  • Competitive compensation with commission and bonus potential

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits

  • A stable, established employer with almost 70 years in the Reno community

  • Ongoing collaboration with our GIA Graduate Gemologist and an experienced leadership team

  • A genuine opportunity to grow with a company that values expertise over volume

About Palace Jewelry and Loan:

Family-owned and operated since 1958, Palace Jewelry and Loan is a Reno institution built on trust, expertise, and genuine care for clients and employees. We are a full-service jeweler with an on-site GIA Graduate Gemologist, custom design and manufacturing capability, and a reputation the community has trusted for almost 70 years.

HOW TO APPLY:

This is a considered hiring process, not a rushed one. If qualified, will be able to select an interview time immediately. Interviews take place in person at our Reno location every Wednesday at 10 in the morning.

Experience:

  • High-End Jewelry & Luxury Watches: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

Compensation:

$100,000 - $150,000 yearly

Responsibilities:

What you will do:

  • Build genuine, lasting relationships with clients purchasing fine jewelry, diamonds, and luxury watches

  • Confidently present and explain diamond quality, precious metals, and watch craftsmanship to discerning buyers

  • Work closely with our on site GIA Graduate Gemologist on appraisals, certifications, and custom pieces

  • Guide clients through custom jewelry design and manufacturing options

  • Manage high value transactions with professionalism, discretion, and precision

  • Maintain and merchandise a showroom that reflects the quality of what we sell

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales goals through expertise, not pressure

Qualifications:

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum two years of experience specifically in high-end or luxury jewelry sales

  • Real, demonstrable experience with fine diamonds, precious metals, and luxury watch brands

  • A track record of working with high-end clientele and delivering a premium client experience

  • Strong communication skills and natural relationship-building ability

  • GIA coursework or diamond grading knowledge is a strong plus

  • A professional, polished presence that fits a luxury retail environment
