Job description

As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer criminal history background check, physical examination and drug screen. All employees must also submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for objectively identifying, describing and appraising assigned real property at fair market value. Duties may include: Field inspections in varying weather conditions; Trend/Depreciation studies; quality control review and assigning quality grade and condition ratings; abide by statutory guidelines and compliance standards; representing the UG at valuation hearings and preparing special reports for annual maintenance and/or compliance. Exceptional customer service and proficiency in communicating effectively with the public about the appraisal and appeal process is expected. This position requires working with various types of worksheets/reports and extensive data entry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years related appraisal experience, preferably in mass or real estate or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Associates Degree preferred. Proficient with computers and basic office software. MS Excel proficiency desired. KREAB certification or RMA designation or the ability to obtain. Training will be offered and successful completion of IAAO Course 101 and 102 or equivalent is expected within 12-month period. Valid Driver's License, Motor Vehicle Record check and current liability insurance required. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
Salary Range:
$21.86-$28.58/hr.
