Job description

  • EAMC MISSION

  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • This position performs a variety of task that relate to the preparation and delivery of human milk and infant/pediatric formulas and transfer of information concerning patient formula orders. The technician is responsible for adherence to all food safety/sanitation regulations established by the hospital and regulatory agencies.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • High School diploma or (GED)
    • Minimum Experience
      • One year of relevant job experience exercising problem solving skills and demonstrating effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • BLS within 90 days of hire/transfer
      • Serv Safe certification within 6 months of hire.
    • Preferred Education
      • Associates degree in applied science or related field.
    • Preferred Experience
      • 2 years of NICU experience
    • Preferred Registration/License/Certification
      • 6-12 months of clinical experience working in a hospital or medical setting
    • Other Requirements
      • N/A
