As our new Field Technician 2 your responsibilities and duties will be as follows. Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provides testing per specific test procedures by using measuring instruments and computer test programs for vehicle systems or products.
โ€ข Provides customer support and training for new and existing customers both in house and in the field.
โ€ข Supports the production and manufacturing functions.
โ€ข Supports the production and assembly of test boards.
โ€ข Maintains vehicle repairs, upgrades and execution of test procedures in new and existing vehicles.
โ€ข Have routine computer skills (directory structure, hyperterm, applications).
โ€ข Performs pre-mission tasks (vehicle mission programming, vehicle checkout). Be able to recognize when something is out of spec.
โ€ข Performs post mission data download and analysis

โ€ข Documents test results with appropriate information in a complete manner and communicate to all required.
โ€ข Reads and interprets specific test procedures to properly perform and document test results.
โ€ข Performs all job responsibilities in support of Product Quality Standards.
โ€ข Communicates all design problems and "bugs" to the correct areas within the organization.
โ€ข Must be able to work in the field unsupervised.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned What you will be doing... Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions. Physical Requirements May require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
