Winchester, VA (2 Day’s Onsite Per Week ) About the Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Developer with an active TS/SCI clearance to support a mission-critical federal program focused on modernizing and securing enterprise cloud environments. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-native solutions while supporting large-scale migration efforts from on-premises environments to AWS cloud architectures.
The ideal candidate will have experience building secure, scalable cloud solutions and leveraging modern DevSecOps practices to automate infrastructure, application deployment, and operational processes. ________________________________________

Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain secure AWS cloud solutions supporting mission-critical applications.
• Develop cloud service delivery models supporting: o Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
o Platform as a Service (PaaS)
o Software as a Service (SaaS)
o Data as a Service (DaaS)
• Analyze existing applications and recommend cloud migration, modernization, and deployment strategies.
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions utilizing industry best practices.
• Implement cloud automation leveraging DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native applications and microservices architectures.
• Support migration of on-premise applications and workloads into AWS environments.
• Establish and maintain secure cloud operating environments aligned with federal security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving cloud infrastructure, services, and application stacks.
• Develop strategies for cloud resiliency, disaster recovery, backup, and high availability.
• Conduct cloud cost optimization assessments and provide recommendations for improved efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, architects, cybersecurity personnel, and mission stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and provide recommendations for adoption.
• Design and implement monitoring, logging, and performance optimization solutions.
• Ensure cloud environments meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.

Required Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 6+ years of AWS cloud development experience supporting enterprise-scale environments.
• Experience developing and deploying applications within AWS cloud environments.
• Experience migrating applications from on-premises infrastructure to AWS.
• Strong experience with cloud architecture and cloud-native application development.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, encryption, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools in cloud environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
