Job description

The Advanced Associate Engineer will support engineering activities such as design, test, inspection and modification of prototype electro-mechanical system fabrication and assembly, experimental design of circuits or special test equipment. He/She will assist engineer to complete complex customer application support or equivalent SEM analysis support and assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. He will also maintain the laboratory and regularly fill laboratory inventory.

Knowledge & Experience requirements
•    3+ years industry experience, semiconductor working experience is preferred
•    Experience in data collection and report compilation
•    Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
•    Capable in performing engineering experiments according to written instructions
•    Ability to read mechanical drawings and assembly process documentation
•    Basic knowledge of electronics, electrical and machining skills
•    Working experience in manufacturing equipment will be a plus
•    Training experience related to Electro-Mechanical Engineering will be a plus

Education Requirements
•    High School/ Technical School /Vocational school/College with technical level

Other requirements
•    Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
•    Willingness to work overtime on weekdays and weekends with short notification time    
 

•    Works on complex issues and regular machine PM independently.
•    Installs assemblies and cabling onto equipment, and validates proper functionality
•    Assembles complex and advanced mechanical assemblies according to drawings, prints and assembly instructions
•    Performs equipment modifications as directed by development and manufacturing engineers
•    Maintains equipment and instrument according to standard calibration procedure
•    Liaises with the supplier and vendors in any support needed.
•    Follows standard work safety and health protocols.
•    Conducts 6S, to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area
•    Other duties as assigned
