As a Applications Developer on the Technology team, a typical day for you will include:
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining custom software using Neighborlyยฎ standard coding practices and techniques
  • Responsible for developing functioning solutions based on technical requirements
  • Responsible for ensuring tasks assigned are completed in a timely manner
  • Responsible for documenting and communicating application design, topologies, and architecture in an understandable way to peers and the business
  • Assists the team in researching solutions and recommends solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Strong query development through SQL, including CRUD operations, Stored Procedures, and Functions utilizing standard formatting practices

  • Experience:
    • 4+ years experience in application development
    • Data Science background
    • Knowledge and experience in Microsoft.Net technologies, with an emphasis on C#
    • Knowledge and experience in common API technologies including SOAP and REST.
  • Skills:
    • Ability to understand and utilize JSON and XML
    • Ability to communicate (verbally and written) effectively
    • Ability and eagerness to learn and adapt quickly to new systems.
    • Must be proactive, detail oriented and possess strong time management skills.
    • Self-starter. Ability to work autonomously with little support.
    • High computer literacy including strong experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Education:
    • Associates or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science
  • Schedule / in-office requirements:
    • Hybrid working model; Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday/Friday from home.
