JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with 6+ years of hands-on experience in database installation, administration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing enterprise databases in production environments and ensuring high availability, reliability, and optimal database performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain database servers and related tools.
  • Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and configurations.
  • Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Manage database security, user roles, permissions, and compliance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot database issues, outages, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Implement database maintenance plans and automation scripts.
  • Support high availability and replication solutions.
  • Collaborate with application developers and infrastructure teams for database design and deployment.
  • Perform capacity planning and storage management.
  • Ensure database documentation, standards, and operational procedures are maintained.
  • Participate in on-call support and production issue resolution.
