Their responsibilities often include preparing financial plans, conducting research, gathering client information, and supporting client meetings. Associate Advisors typically work toward building their own client base while gaining experience and professional certifications. This role is a common stepping stone to becoming a lead financial advisor or planner.

  • Champion a member-first culture throughout the branch, modeling the standard for exceptional service.

Tax Services & Enrolled Agent Responsibilities
  • Oversee the delivery of tax services at the branch level, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a high-quality member experience throughout tax season and year-round.
  • Leverage Enrolled Agent credentials to represent members before the IRS in examinations, collections, and appeals, serving as the branch's trusted authority on federal tax matters.
  • Supervise and support the Associate Advisor and branch team in tax preparation workflows, quality review, and timely filing.
  • Stay current on federal and state tax law changes, IRS guidance, and continuing education requirements to maintain EA licensure.

  • Drive outbound and inbound member engagement campaigns to grow the branch pipeline, reactivate lapsed members, and deepen relationships with existing members.
  • Identify and pursue community-level opportunities to expand CSI's presence and grow the branch member base.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Member Advisory Services on branch performance, growth strategies, and market opportunities.
  • Monitor key branch metrics and take proactive steps to close performance gaps and capitalize on growth opportunities.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Directly manage, coach, and develop a team of Member Services Representatives and Senior Member Services Representatives.
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular one-on-ones, and provide ongoing feedback that drives individual and team growth.
  • Lead branch huddles and team meetings that align the team on priorities, campaigns, and member experience standards.

  • Partner with the Director of Member Advisory Services and compliance leadership to address any operational or regulatory concerns promptly.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date member records across all CSI platforms and systems.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree or additional professional designations a plus.
  • 5 or more years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or financial services, with a demonstrated track record of production growth and client relationship management.
  • Enrolled Agent (EA) license required; active IRS credentialing and continuing education must be maintained throughout employment.
