Job description

Gould Killian CPA Group is seeking an eager, detail-oriented, and analytical Staff Accountant to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of personal, corporate, fiduciary and partnership tax returns
  • Prepare property tax returns
  • Working in accounting software to enter and review client data
  • Participate in attest and audit engagements
  • Participate in tax planning and basic tax research for various clients and special projects
  • Collaborate with fellow team members of the firm on other projects as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field
  • Knowledge accounting principles, working knowledge of GAAP, and familiarity with professional standards
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, hard working environment with deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organization skills
  • CPA eligible, or plans to be eligible in the next year

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA or Enrolled Agent license
  • Associates or Bachelor's in Accounting or related field
