We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team!

General Accountant — Senior Job Description
Candidates for senior accountant positions should possess solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills. At S & A when we hire senior accountants, we generally look for at least three years’ experience, along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. A CPA is preferred. CPA Firm experience is a plus.


Typical senior accountant — duties:
• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
• Preparing financial statements.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close.
• Preparing financial statements, journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas.
• Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the annual budget variance analyses
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules.
• Maintaining and reconciling Debt Schedules.
• Supervising accounting staff.
