Position Overview

The Plumbing Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing plumbing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with technical expertise in plumbing systems and construction processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of plumbing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and timelines
  • Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and clients
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients
  • Manage project costs, track expenses, and handle change orders
  • Supervise field staff, foremen, and subcontractors
  • Resolve project issues, conflicts, and delays efficiently
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports
  • Collect payments and enter them into QuickBooks
  • Pay vendor bills through QuickBooks that are related to new construction projects
  • Send out pre liens and liens to current projects


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in plumbing project management or related field
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, construction methods, and industry standards
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Experience with project management software
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
