The Assistant Director translates strategic marketing priorities into clear workflows, campaign plans, timelines, and team priorities while ensuring effective execution across multiple campaigns and workstreams. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing leader with strong organizational, project management, people-management, and cross-functional coordination skills. The role serves as the primary point of coordination and escalation between the Marketing Director and the junior marketing team and plays a critical role in scaling Medivant Health’s marketing function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor multiple campaigns and workstreams simultaneously and ensure timely execution.
Team Management & Coordination
  • Directly manage and mentor the Events, Social Media/Influencer/Creatives, Paid Media, and Market Admin leads.
  • Set priorities, review work, and hold team members accountable for deadlines and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point between the Marketing Director and the junior marketing team.
  • Resolve day-to-day blockers and operational issues before they require Director-level involvement.

Campaign Oversight
  • Oversee integrated marketing campaigns spanning events, social media/influencer activities, paid media, and creative initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging, brand execution, and coordination across marketing channels.
  • Partner with the Events lead on trade shows, conferences, HCP events, and on-ground marketing activations.
  • Partner with the Social Media, Influencer & Creatives lead on channel strategy, content calendars, and KOL/influencer partnerships.
  • Partner with the Paid Media lead on paid social and search execution, budget pacing, and performance optimization.
  • Partner with Market Admin on budget tracking, vendor coordination, and reporting accuracy.
Performance & Reporting
  • Establish and monitor KPIs across all four marketing functions.
  • Consolidate performance data into clear and regular reporting for the Marketing Director.
  • Monitor campaign and team performance to identify execution risks, resource gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend solutions to address execution risks and resourcing challenges.
Stakeholder Communication

  • Provide regular execution updates and performance information to the Marketing Director.
  • Represent the marketing team’s execution status in cross-functional discussions with Sales and other departments.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and campaigns simultaneously.
  • Experience with budget tracking, vendor management, and performance reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of marketing campaigns from strategy through execution and measurement.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred:
  • Advanced degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
