Exercise Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA

Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa in Roosevelt, UT is hiring a dedicated Exercise Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to join our growing team!

Full Time shifts available At Avalon Care Center we continue to develop our culture of providing outstanding care to residents. We know our staff makes all the difference at our facilities, and we take great pride in ensuring that we provide the best work environment. Whether you are a new graduate, or someone with years of experience in the field, Avalon has opportunities for everyone. This is not a travel position. Must be local or planning to relocate.

Responsibilities
  • Assisting residents to meet rehabilitation goals through exercise modalities
  • Managing and teaching exercise activities to groups of residents
  • Interdepartmental communications within care team of both nursing and therapy
  • Documentation of resident exercise treatments
Qualifications
  • Must be a Certified Nursing assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon
  • Must have one year experience working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA)
  • Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education
  • Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
  • Recent education or clinical hours are required.
  • You need to be at least 18 years old.
  • Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry
  • Experience with fitness instruction is preferred
