LOCATION: Pennichuck Middle School
WORK YEAR: 199 days July 1 to June 30
STARTING: 2026 - 2027 School Year
SALARY: $98,159 - $114,587 with benefits under the Nashua Association of School Principals CBA
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be NH certified or eligible as a Principal. The certification requires a Masters degree in Administration or Leadership and three successful years as an educator. The preferred candidate with have five years educational experience, including significant administrative/supervisory and teaching and learning experiences.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assistant Principal Responsibilities:
Serve as acting principal during the absence of the Principal; assist the Principal with the improvement of the instructional program and inherent supervisory duties; assist in selection of personnel; observes and together with principal, evaluates teachers, paraprofessionals and school nurse; supervise substitutes and student teachers; assume primary responsibility for student attendance and discipline; assist in the preparation of pupil schedules and assignments: serve on the Special Education placement team in the absence of the Principal; Perform such duties as the Principal may assign.
