Our busy dermatology practice is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with EMR experience!
We are looking for a friendly, motivated team player who is willing and able to learn and be a member of an awesome team. We welcome candidates taking a gap year prior to PA school.
Job Description
  • Room Patients, triage, obtain/document medical history and chief complaint in EMR
  • Document Allergies and Medications and Obtain Informed consent from patients
  • Scribe and assist provider during exams and procedures
  • Assist skin cancer surgeries, medical procedures and cosmetic procedures
  • Prescription management
  • Patient call backs with pathology results/Schedule excisions
  • Prior Authorizations and Biologics
  • Clean and restock exam rooms/assist with inventory
  • Sterilize Instruments
  • Assist with any administrative duties such as answering the phone, patient questions and scheduling

Qualifications
  • 1+ year(s) of Medical Assistant experience (Required)
  • EMR experience (Required)
  • Dermatology experience (Preferred)
  • Front desk experience (Preferred)
  • Looking for future PA / Medical student candidates needing clinical hours for a gap year or more.
